The event combined an industry conference, business networking activities, and the VMARK Hospitality & FnB Excellence Award 2026 ceremony, recognizing the Top 30 outstanding projects selected from 150 entries.

Bringing Expert Perspectives Together to Shape the Future of Hospitality & FnB Design

Under the theme “Designing the Future of Hospitality,” the event was organized by the Vietnam Design Association Ho Chi Minh City (VDAS) and VMARK. It provided a platform for exchanging ideas on the role of design in enhancing customer experiences, building brand identity, and creating greater value for hospitality, accommodation, and dining spaces.

The program featured leading experts in architecture, design, and the Hospitality & FnB sectors, including

Through presentations and professional discussions, the program explored emerging trends, practical requirements, and opportunities for innovation in Hospitality & FnB space design. Presentations introducing solutions, products, and services also broadened perspectives on how design can be applied to business operations.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Hồ Tấn Dương, Chairman of the Vietnam Design Association Ho Chi Minh City (VDAS Design Association HCMC), emphasized the importance of connection fostered by the VMARK DESIGN VOICES series throughout its five-year journey:

“Looking back on the five-year journey of VMARK DESIGN VOICES, part of VMARK VIETNAM DESIGN WEEK & AWARD, its achievements are measured not only by the number of events held or attendees reached, but also by the strength of the lasting connections we have built. We aim to establish an open platform where architects, designers, brands, and investors can come together to share practical challenges, thereby contributing to the development of new standards for Vietnam’s creative industries.”

VMARK Hospitality & FnB Excellence Award 2026 Honors the Top 30 Outstanding Projects

One of the highlights of the program was the VMARK Hospitality & FnB Excellence Award 2026 ceremony. From 150 entries, the Top 30 outstanding projects were selected to recognize creative achievements in Hospitality & FnB space design.

Established in 2019, the VMARK Vietnam Design Awards has consistently sought to honor projects and brands that have made outstanding contributions to interior design and architecture. Since 2025, the specialized VMARK Hospitality & FnB Excellence Award has placed particular emphasis on recognizing project owners who prioritize design investment in hospitality, accommodation, and dining spaces.

Through this initiative, VMARK encourages design approaches that go beyond aesthetic appeal and functional requirements to create meaningful experiences, communicate brand identity, and establish emotional connections with customers.

Ms. Trần Ngọc Danh, Vice Chairwoman of VDAS and Founder and CEO of VMARK Vietnam Design Week & Award, shared her perspective on the evolving approach to developing Hospitality & FnB spaces:

“Throughout our journey in building the VMARK Award series, we have witnessed a significant transformation in the hospitality and dining industries: project owners are increasingly placing experiential spaces at the heart of their development strategies. Design is no longer merely about aesthetics; it is the ‘soul’ that connects brands with their customers.”

She further emphasized: “The prestigious projects nominated tonight are clear evidence that Vietnam can absolutely create hospitality and dining spaces of international caliber! The future of the industry lies not only in what we build today, but also in the values we leave behind for tomorrow!”

Recognizing the Top 30 projects not only acknowledges the efforts of project owners, architects, and design teams, but also helps advance creative standards in Vietnam’s Hospitality & FnB sector.

Networking & Business Matching: Expanding Collaboration Opportunities in the Design Industry

Alongside the professional sessions and awards ceremony, Networking & Business Matching provided a valuable opportunity for experts, architects, designers, project owners, and businesses to meet, exchange insights into practical needs, and explore potential partnerships. This initiative also reflects VMARK DESIGN VOICES’ broader mission to strengthen connections between the design community and the market.

Through a series of activities ranging from professional dialogue to the recognition of outstanding projects, VMARK DESIGN VOICES 2026 continues to promote knowledge exchange, encourage innovation, and recognize the design community’s contributions to the development of the Hospitality & FnB industry.

The Organizing Committee would also like to acknowledge and express its sincere gratitude to An Cường Wood, the event’s main sponsor; Arrow – Dash Studio, the supporting brand; and media partners DesignPlus and POPS for their support in bringing the program to a wider audience.
