JUDGING PROCESS ​

​

Submissions undergo a rigorous two-stage evaluation by our esteemed Grand Jury, comprising internationally renowned design visionaries, distinguished academic professors, and presidents of leading global design & architectural organizations.

​

To secure this coveted accolade, winning masterpieces must fulfill our stringent evaluation criteria. The annual VMARK Design Award honors pioneering entries that harness the power of design to solve real-world challenges and elevate the quality of life.

Stage 1: Preliminary Selection

The VMARK Organizing Committee will review initial registration data to select the qualifying entries eligible to advance to the next evaluation phase.

Stage 2: Secondary Evaluation

Shortlisted entries will be meticulously evaluated by our international Jury Panel, ensuring the highest standards of objectivity, transparency, and fairness as they vie for the final round.

Grand Finale & Awards Night

Following the definitive final round, the ultimate laureates of the Gold and Silver VMARK Design Awards will be determined across all categories. The winners will be officially unveiled and celebrated at the Grand Gala, gaining exclusive access to an extensive suite of Winner Benefits

COPYRIGHT

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to utilize project images, video footage, and related author/studio profiles for promotional campaigns, social media marketing, press releases, official publications, and documentation representing both the VMARK Awards and the Vietnam Design Association (VDAS), without requiring prior approval or financial compensation.

ELIGIBILITY

• Each contestant has no limit to the number of works submitted.

• Works submitted must be copyrighted, we do not accept copied works.

• The organizers are not responsible for any copyright issues.

• Entrants must ensure the accuracy of the information presented for the submitted entries. If a third party makes a claim against an entry, the entrant is required to personally resolve the issue with all due speed.

• The Organizing Board has the right to use the works and images from those works to exhibit and promote.

• After submitting the works, applicants will receive a confirmation email, and submissions will be forwarded to the evaluation panel.

• If a work belongs to a group, candidates must submit an Authorization Letter to the authorized representative, or the one who is also responsible for the product.

• If the required fees (e.g. registration fee) are not received in full by the organizer, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the entry and/or any prizes awarded to the applicant.

• Once the registration process is completed (including the payment of the registration fee), the organizer cannot refund the received fee.

• The organizer and executive organizer reserve the right to use entry information, descriptions, photographs, and videos provided by the applicant during registration for promotional purposes.

• The organizer and executive organizer may collect the entrants’ personal information for the purpose of design promotion and the operation of this award and competition. Entry registration is accepted by the organizer and executive organizer as consent to the collection, processing, and use of the applicant’s personal information within the necessary scope of purpose mentioned above.

• Entries shall pass the required safety inspection and may be disqualified from the selection in the case of violations or safety incidents. The entrant shall not receive a refund of their registration fee. 

• Awards for invalid works (if any) will be revoked if cheating or necessity scope are found.

• Entrants must respect the selection results given by the organizer and executive organizer and may not raise any negative objections on the matter.
