Mr. TRAN THANH LONG (MODERATOR)

Tran Thanh Long is the Founder and Head of Business Development at Unios Vietnam, an Australian architectural lighting brand committed to redefining how light is experienced in modern spaces.  

Having started his career in lighting in 2007, Long brings nearly two decades of experience in market development, strategic growth, and team leadership within Vietnam’s lighting industry. He established and built Unios Vietnam from the ground up, developing its market presence, partner ecosystem, and positioning across residential, hospitality, and commercial sectors. 

As a business leader, Long focuses on bridging design intent with real-world execution—ensuring that creative concepts are translated into practical, high-performance lighting solutions that deliver long-term value. His project portfolio includes high-profile developments such as JW Marriott Saigon (completed in 2025), and he is currently involved in Mandarin Oriental Danang, reflecting his experience in delivering premium hospitality projects in Vietnam.  

Beyond commercial leadership, Long contributes to the advancement of the industry through workshops, technical training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the architecture and design community.  

He is currently transitioning towards the role of Director of Growth, with a focus on expanding market reach, strengthening strategic partnerships, and driving innovation in how lighting is approached and applied in Vietnam.  

Long believes that lighting is not merely a technical component, but a strategic tool that enhances spatial experience, emotion, and the overall value of a project.
