Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai, Hoi An

The Owner / Investor:

Indochina Resort (Hoi An) Ltd

Category:

Hotel, Lounge, Bar, Resort

Location:

Da Nang

Set along a private kilometre of Ha My Beach, Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai, Hoi An is a destination defined by balance — between land and sea, heritage and modernity, stillness and discovery. Spanning 35 hectares of lush coastal landscape, the Resort is Vietnam’s first all-villa retreat and is recognised as the only Forbes Five-Star Resort in Vietnam, as well as the only Michelin Key resort in the Da Nang - Hoi An region. Guided by Phong Thuy (Feng Shui) principles, the architecture is minimalist, intentional, and deeply connected to nature. Villas and shared spaces are inspired by Central Vietnam’s traditional nhà vườn living, with raised platforms, pitched roofs, timber frames, and open layouts that encourage both communal connection and quiet reflection. Once a fisherman’s village within UNESCO-protected territory, the Resort preserves ceremonial and historical elements onsite, honouring local heritage while evolving gracefully to meet contemporary luxury standards. The Resort comprises 100 villas, including 60 recently renovated villas, thoughtfully positioned across five horseshoe-shaped bays to optimise ocean breezes, beach views, and a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor living. Privacy and space are defining luxuries, creating an atmosphere of intimate refuge and timeless sophistication. Anchoring the master plan is the award-recognised Heart of the Earth Spa, conceived as a sanctuary of alignment rather than indulgence. Inspired by the teachings of Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh, the spa is rooted in the belief that well-being emerges through harmony with nature. Its design and rituals emphasise symmetry, natural materials, and treatments that attune body and mind to the Earth’s rhythms, including crystal singing bowls tuned to 432 Hz. Guests are equally invited to explore the cultural richness of Central Vietnam, with curated experiences and easy access to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites — Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Sanctuary, and the Imperial City of Hue. Culinary journeys reflect the same depth and sense of place, from Japanese omakase at NAYUU, the first dedicated omakase restaurant in Central Vietnam, to contemporary Vietnamese at La Sen and royal Indian cuisine at Cafe Nam Hai, as well as sunset-to-moonlight moments at Sol & Sao bar, home to Central Vietnam’s largest sherry collection. Service is shaped by the character of Central Vietnam — sincere, intuitive, and quietly attentive — offering an experience that is both restorative and deeply rooted in place.
